Following consultation with existing customers, housing associations Catalyst and Peabody have agreed to join together to create a better, locally focused organisation. Catalyst and Peabody believe by joining together we’ll be able to invest more in homes, communities, technology and people. We’ll continue to offer value for money, but we’ll retain our local focus with a regional structure and local teams. Customers will continue to be at the front and centre of everything we do, and we’re committed to creating and designing services together.
As of April 2022, Catalyst has joined Peabody Group as a subsidiary, and we’ve been bringing our teams, systems and processes together. We’ve now undertaken a final consultation with customers on our proposal to join with Peabody to create a single housing association in April 2023. The Catalyst name would then cease as of April 2023 and become Peabody.
